The Honorary Consul for Latvia in Southern California echoes the statement made by The Saeima that strongly condemns the military aggression and wide-scale invasion by the Russian Federation into Ukraine. Russia’s attack on Ukraine constitutes a gross violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, directly breaching the international commitments of Russia.
The Saeima reaffirms its unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, expresses its solidarity with Ukraine and its society, and confirms its support for Ukraine’s efforts to consolidate the country's democratic development and to achieve progress in its Euro Atlantic integration process.
